Halloween 2009

Well I know it has been a LONG time since I have posted anything on here, but at least I can say I have kept myself very busy. Between summer vacationS, funerals, and school, we have been just trying to stay out of the Arizona Heat. I will be posting back posts, so if u want to see what we have done throughout the summer just look at our old posts.
Halloween was fun this year, we had it spread out over about 4 days. Wednesday we had a combined Halloween party trick or treating among the classrooms. Thursday the local grocery store had a little trick and treat and games throughout different areas in the store. And Sat we went to a co-worker from Mark's work and had a BBQ and little carnival games. Then we raced home and met friends and neighbor, and went into nice neighborhood, and we should have weighed the booty, but if u can imagine those plastic pumpkins you use to trick or treat with, there was about a inch left from the top full of Candy. Good thing we wore them out they only wanted to go to bed and not eat a bunch of candy, it made separating it much easier.


So time for Costume explanations: Aimee wore a pink princess like dress, and ended up becoming a much toned down version of Glenda the Good witch from Wizard of Oz.
Emily had wanted to be a witch since Oct 1, and was afraid to put green makeup on her face, enjoyed wearing the hat and carrying her broom. Cady was Dorothy, and only by luck. We ended up at a grand opening goodwill, and they were advertising Halloween costumes, and so we went in to see what we could find, found a broom for $2 for Emily, and then found a perfect dress for Cady that had no stains or tears. I later found some red ruby shoes at Target to truly complete the ensemble. So we assumed the Dorothy cast, but it ended with the girls. I was a Nurse/Doctor and Mark was an Awesome Dad.
